Terms and Conditions for Renting a Car in Menorca with Us<\/h1>

What Is Included in Our Rate?<\/strong><\/h3>

\u2705 Collision damage insurance with no excess<\/strong> for vehicles with up to 5 seats<\/strong>.
\u2705 Collision damage insurance with a \u20ac300 excess<\/strong> for:<\/p>

  • Vehicles with 7 or 9 seats<\/strong>.<\/li>
  • Automatic SUVs<\/strong>.<\/li><\/ul>

    \u2705 Theft insurance<\/strong> (valid only if the customer retains the vehicle key<\/em>).
    \u2705 Free cancellation<\/strong> (up to 72 hours before collection<\/em>).
    \u2705 No additional fuel charges<\/strong> (the vehicle must be returned with the same fuel level as when it was provided<\/em>).
    \u2705 Flexible payment options<\/strong>: we accept cash and credit or debit cards<\/strong>.
    \u2705 A credit card is not required<\/strong> to rent a vehicle from us.
    \u2705 24-hour roadside assistance<\/strong>.<\/p>

    What Is Not Included in Our Rates?<\/strong><\/h3>

    \u274c Damage caused by negligence, reckless driving or driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs<\/strong>.
    \u274c Damage to or deterioration of the upholstery and interior<\/strong>, including cigarette burns.
    \u274c Loss of or damage to accessories<\/strong>, including:<\/p>

    • The jack, warning triangles, reflective vests, booster seats or child seats.<\/li><\/ul>

      \u274c Engine damage caused by negligence<\/strong>, including impacts to the sills, underside or oil sump<\/strong>.
      \u274c Damage that has not been reported<\/strong> (it may be considered negligence<\/em>).
      \u274c Theft of the vehicle<\/strong> if the customer does not retain the key<\/strong>.<\/p>

      Full Insurance for Greater Peace of Mind<\/strong><\/h3>

      For only \u20ac4.50 per day<\/strong>, our Full Insurance<\/strong> covers:<\/p>

      \u2705 Refuelling with the incorrect type of fuel<\/strong>.
      \u2705 Damage to keys and locks<\/strong>.
      \u2705 Loss of or damage to the aerial and windscreen wipers<\/strong>.
      \u2705 Damage to tyres and wheel rims<\/strong>.
      \u2705 Damage to windows and windscreens<\/strong>.
      \u2705 Dents or scratches to the sills, bodywork and paintwork<\/strong>.
      \u2705 Wing mirrors and headlights<\/strong>.
      \u2705 Loss of or damage to keys and remote controls<\/strong>.<\/p>

      \u26a0\ufe0f Important<\/strong>: having Full Insurance<\/strong> does not remove the obligation to report any damage<\/strong> that occurs during the rental. Unreported damage may be considered negligence<\/strong> and may result in the corresponding costs being charged.<\/p>

      Important Rental Conditions<\/strong><\/h3>

      \ud83d\udeab Climbing or standing on the roof of the vehicle is strictly prohibited<\/strong>. Any resulting damage will be considered negligence<\/strong>, and the renter will be responsible for the repair costs.<\/p>

      \u26a0\ufe0f Traffic and parking fines<\/strong>:<\/p>

      • Any traffic or parking fine will be the responsibility of the renter.<\/li>
      • Menorcarent charges a \u20ac15 administration fee<\/strong> for processing fines.<\/li><\/ul>

        \ud83d\ude97 Rental requirements<\/strong>:<\/p>

        • Minimum age: 24 years with no additional charge<\/strong>.<\/li>
        • The driving licence must have been held for at least 2 years<\/strong>.<\/li>
        • Younger drivers are accepted subject to an additional charge.<\/li><\/ul>

          \ud83d\udd04 Early-return policy<\/strong>:<\/p>

          • No refunds will be provided<\/strong> if the vehicle is returned before the scheduled date.<\/li><\/ul>

            \ud83d\ude98 Vehicle replacement<\/strong>:<\/p>

            • In the event of an accident for which the renter is responsible<\/strong>, the company reserves the right<\/strong> to replace the vehicle with another model at its discretion.<\/li><\/ul>

              \u26d4 Restrictions on use<\/strong>:<\/p>

              • The vehicle may only be used in Menorca<\/strong>.<\/li>
              • The vehicle may not be taken off the island or transported between islands<\/strong>.<\/li><\/ul>

                \u26a0\ufe0f Technical or typographical errors<\/strong>:<\/p>

                If, before the service is provided, a manifest and objectively identifiable technical, computer, typographical or calculation error is detected that affects the price or any essential element of the booking, Menorcarent will inform the customer as soon as possible<\/strong>, explain the issue and provide the correct price.<\/p>

                The customer may expressly accept the correction or cancel the booking without penalty. If the customer does not accept the correction, Menorcarent may cancel the booking and will refund in full any amount already paid<\/strong>.<\/p>

                This provision will not apply to ordinary commercial price changes or to errors that are not manifest. It is without prejudice to the rights granted to consumers under applicable legislation.<\/p>

                Vehicle Collection Instructions<\/strong><\/h3>

                \ud83d\udccd Menorca Airport<\/strong>:<\/p>

                • Upon arrival, you will find a Menorcarent representative<\/strong> in the arrivals hall<\/strong>, identifiable by a company badge or sign.<\/li>
                • The vehicle will be parked directly in front of the arrivals terminal<\/strong>, ready for quick collection without unnecessary waiting.<\/li><\/ul>
